For many years, our aspiration has been to specialize in the distribution of industrial computer and automation solutions. Traditionally, our company participated in the international Embedded World trade fair in Nuremberg, where we visited the booths of our Key Partners. During this year's event, we were particularly impressed by the booth of Aplex, whose products are highly popular among our clients.
Aplex models are known in the market for their high quality, durability, and resistance to harsh conditions in production facilities.
Let's introduce a preview of our report from the Aplex booth – the full video report can be found later in the article.
A new feature at the Aplex booth was a panel computer designed for medical applications. Its main role is to facilitate the work of nurses. The computer can be mounted on a cart, making it easily movable.
It can be equipped with a camera located at the top of the housing, enabling remote contact with doctors or family members. At the bottom of the housing, there is a barcode scanner that allows for the quick display of a patient's record by scanning the code located at their bed. Information about the patient's treatment will be displayed on the screen, allowing the nurse to quickly access all key data.
Next to the barcode scanner is an RFID card reader, to which hospital staff can apply a card to access functions assigned to a particular user.
In case of a power failure, and to increase the device's mobility, the Aplex panel computer has two easily removable batteries that provide about 5 hours of power.
