We are presenting the first item, which is the LoRaWAN Wirnet iFemtocell gateway. The iFemtocell gateway is a fully functional gateway working in the LoRaWAN standard. It is a device to be used in various types of internal applications, e.g. in halls, warehouses, industrial plants or offices requiring communication for IoT applications.
The presented product offers full support of 8 available LoRaWAN channels. It offers high performance and thanks to LoR modulation - long range even in difficult conditions, such as basements, parking lots or elevator shafts. The standard connection to the internet and cloud services is an Ethernet cable connected to the gateway, however iFemtocell also has a built-in WiFi module. The LoRaWAN internal gateway enables transmission of up to 700,000 packets per day.
The presented gateway has a working temperature range of -20⁰C ÷ 55⁰C. The iFemtocell housing is made of plastic. The device housing has an attractive design for indoor installation. The device is very light (about 500g) and has small dimensions: 160 x 90 x 35 mm, thanks to which there is no problem with placing the gateway in a place with limited space. It has also been equipped with ports such as: RJ45, USB, Jack power input, SMA antenna connector. iFemtocell is a device made in an IP30 housing, which allows it to be fully used inside the building, in the halls, etc. At the same time, the gateway is equipped with an antenna connector that allows you to connect an external antenna. In this combination, it is also possible to obtain an external LoRaWAN network on the iFemtocell (gateway in the building, antenna outside).
