The presented disk can be a substitute for a black box, because it withstands up to 30 minutes at a temperature of 800°C in a direct flame.
The disk can be placed in vehicles, public transport to facilitate the investigation of the causes of accidents. Modern vehicles are designed with the highest safety in mind, however, fire has always been able to absorb valuable data.
Innodisk fireproof SSD has a triple layer of protection. The layers contain a heat resistant copper alloy, drive protection design, and heat-insulating material. Fireproof SSD is available in SATA 3.5
