SMD current sense transformers offer for a wide range of applications such as power supplies, battery management systems, and motor control circuits. Options include the markets smallest footprint for high density applications in miniature dimension, the rated current is up to 20A. EE5XF series could withstand solder re-flow and suitable for DC/DC and AC/DC converters, The Hi-Pot Tested at 1500Vac and small footprint. The SMD current sense transformer is used to measure and detect current flow in an isolated conductor. To choose the suitable current sense transformer, the most important value is the maximum current need to be sensed, frequency, and desired output voltage across the terminating resistor. Normally, the frequency is up to 1MHz and current rating is around 4A. The 20A current sense transformer is feature with low DC resistance, 1:N turn ratio (customized available), small package and RoHS / REACH compliance.

Features:

  • height:5.1mm NOM (5.3mm max), footprint:8.4mm*7.2mm max
  • inductance range: 81~3000uH
  • current range: 10A
  • RoHS compliant
  • inductance measured across secondary at 100 kHz, 0.1 Vrms
  • ambient temperature range: –40°C to +85°C
  • senses current to greater than 10 Amps
  • frequency Range: 50kHz to 1MHz
