The Milesight WS203 is an environmental monitoring device that combines motion and temperature/humidity (TH) sensors. By detecting motion within an 8-meter range based on passive infrared (PIR) technology, the WS203 can trigger TH detection and periodically report environmental status over LoRaWAN® network. With easy configuration and wireless detection, the WS203 offers a reliable and convenient solution for space and TH optimization. Compatible with Milesight LoRaWAN® gateway and IoT Cloud platform, it enables real-time monitoring of occupant status for effective remote management. The WS203 can find applications in various settings including smart offices, buildings, hospitals, and more.

  • WS203 is a wireless environmental monitoring sensor detecting the motion of humans or animals, surrounding temp and humidity. It ensures the indoor environment at a preset comfort level via pairing with HVAC system if motions are being detected, which is a huge energy saver and brings much comfort.

Sensitive motion detection

  • WS203 can detect motions of humans or animals sensitively at wide coverage up to 120° horizontal and 100° vertical within 6 meters based on passive infrared (PIR).

Adjustable detection angles

  • The detection range of the PIR sensor in WS203 could be adjusted via different standard PIR covers to adapt to various detection environments.

High-precision temperature and humidity detection

  • Built-in high-precision TH sensor ensures accurate monitoring of temperature and humidity in the air, detecting changes in real-time.

High data integrity with storage and retransmission

  • WS203 can store up to 1000 sets of historical data records with time stamps. When the connection fails, WS203 will continue to collect and store environment data. Once reconnected, the data collected during that period will be retransmitted to the gateway, thus avoiding data loss.

  • Milesight D2D (device to device) communication protocol featuring LoRa® enables communication among different Milesight LoRaWAN® node devices without a LoRaWAN® gateway.
