Today we present a gateway designed to build an external LoRaWAN network - Wirnet Station.
The housing is equipped with a metal frame to be attached to a wall or a telecommunication mast. The full set is completed by an antenna and a universal mounting bracket. The set also includes a PoE power supply and 1m antenna cable. This equipment means that you do not have to buy additional components and the station can be launched in no time.
Wirnet Station has a built-in 3G / 4G modem that can be used in places where it is not possible to provide a permanent wired connection. The product offers support for 8 available LoRaWAN channels and enables the transmission of over 700,000 packages per day. The dimensions of the device are 315 x 170 x 215 mm, and the weight does not exceed 2 kg. The presented gateway is characterized by a wide operating temperature range -20⁰C ÷ 60⁰C. The whole is closed in a sealed housing and meets the IP67 standard, thanks to which it is resistant to adverse weather conditions such as rain or snow.
Installation of access points involves not only ensuring connection to the Internet, but also adjusting the connection of power cords. To simplify the installation of Wirnet Station, the gateway is equipped with the option of PoE power supply, so there is no need for an additional power cable - the device is powered directly from the Ethernet cable. The device is characterized by low energy consumption, so it can also be powered e.g. from a solar panel.
