The presented product of iEi production is a very good proposal for all outdoor applications and demanding industrial applications (dust, humidity, low temperatures).
It consists of a durable 12.1 "LCD screen, which can come in a version with capacitive or resistive touch panel, fanless design, efficient processor and numerous interfaces. The panel is enclosed in an aluminium housing, which is completely protected against dust and water, which is confirmed by the IP66 standard.
UPC-F12C-ULT3 has M12 connectors on the rear panel with RS-232, RS-232/422/285, LAN interfaces, two USB 2.0 connectors. In addition, thanks to locking screws and a separate seal, it is resistant to dust and, as mentioned before, water.
Said panel PC has a wide operating temperature range from -20⁰C ÷ 60⁰C. This range can be increased to - 40⁰C by using an additional heating element that will be placed between the screen and the motherboard. The computer is available in two processor versions - we can choose between: Intel Skylake-ULT Core i5 or Celeron 3955U. This device may be equipped with a 2.5 "SATA disk and an M.2 SSD disk. Access to the disk bay is not difficult, which significantly facilitates the integration and maintenance of the computer. The device has been equipped with 4 GB DDR4 RAM, Bluetooth 4.0. and integrated WiFi. As an option, the Mifare standard RFiD reader can be built into the computer.
UPC-F12C-ULT3 received the Red Dot Design 2018 award. It is one of the most prestigious awards in the field of industrial design.
