The WS202 sensor is designed for Smart Building/Home applications and allows for monitoring light intensity and detecting motion in rooms, wirelessly communicating within a LoRaWAN network.
LoRaWAN is increasingly popular, with estimates indicating that hundreds of thousands of devices are operating within LoRaWAN networks in Poland alone. Globally, the number of LoRaWAN gateways has long surpassed one million. LoRaWAN is a wireless communication protocol developed with low energy consumption and long-range capabilities in mind. Its features, such as long battery life, interference resistance, no need for cable routing for power or data transmission, and excellent signal propagation, make LoRaWAN highly suitable for widespread use in Smart Building/Home applications.
We invite you to participate in a free video training on the operation and configuration of the Milesight WS202 sensor, which is used for measuring light intensity and detecting motion. The full HD quality video training lasts 9 minutes and covers areas such as:
The WS202 sensor can be integrated with a lighting control system, allowing for electricity savings by adjusting room lighting based on natural light or activating lights at dusk.
Additionally, thanks to its built-in motion sensor, if no movement is detected in a room, the WS202 can turn off the lighting in that space. Conversely, it can activate lighting upon detecting movement.
