The PCI-P8R8U universal PCI card supports 3.3 V/5 V PCI bus. These cards contain 8 photo-coupler DI channels that provide 5000 Vrms isolation protection, allowing the input signals to be completely floated so as to prevent ground loops. They are also equipped with 8 Relay Output channels that can be used to control the ON/OFF state of external devices, drive external relays or small power switches, or activate alarms, etc.

The PCI-P8R8U also adds a Card ID switch on-board. Users can set Card ID and then recognizes the board by the ID via software when using two or more cards in one computer.

The cards support various OS versions, such as Linux, DOS, Windows. DLL and Active X control together with various language sample program based on Turbo C++, Borland c++, Microsoft C++, Visual C++, Borland Delphi, Borland C++ Builder, Visual Basic, C#.NET, Visual Basic.NET and LabVIEW are provided in order to help users to quickly and easily develop their own applications.
