The MClimate 16A Switch & Power Meter LoRaWAN® is a compact relay with a width of only 18 mm (DIN module standard) that combines the functions of electrical circuit control and accurate energy measurement. The device fits behind most sockets and wall switches, making it ideal for quick upgrades and retrofit installations.

The MClimate 16A Switch & Power Meter LoRaWAN® enables precise control of electrical devices, allowing users to remotely switch equipment on and off, as well as create schedules and automation scenarios. The built-in energy meter provides accurate measurement of power consumption in both real time and historically, allowing for a complete analysis of energy efficiency. The device has been designed with safety in mind – it has a temperature sensor to prevent overheating, as well as protection against overload, overvoltage and overcurrent. In addition, the FUOTA (Firmware Upgrade Over The Air) function enables remote software updates, which greatly facilitates device maintenance and ensures its long-term reliability. LoRaWAN® Class C communication allows for two-way real-time data exchange with full end-to-end encryption (AES-CTR), which guarantees security and stability of transmission. 

Application in various types of buildings

The MClimate 16A Switch & Power Meter LoRaWAN® has been designed for a wide range of applications in various building environments. The device is suitable for use in homes and flats as well as in commercial buildings, offices, hotels, schools and public facilities. It is ideal for controlling electric heating systems, convection heaters, underfloor heating with electric valves, lighting, boilers, pumps and other HVAC system components.  

Thanks to their small size, they can be easily installed in almost any location – behind a standard socket, switch or in an electrical cabinet. Combined with the MClimate Wireless Thermostat LoRaWAN®, it creates a complete heating management system that allows for intelligent temperature control in individual rooms, improving user comfort and significantly reducing energy costs.

MClimate attaches great importance to quality and safety testing. Each device undergoes rigorous stress testing and quality control, and its housing is made of non-flammable V-0 UL-94 material, compliant with EU standards. 

The built-in temperature sensor detects loose cable connections and prevents overheating, ensuring user safety and long-term operational reliability.
