Touch interfaces are replacing existing solutions based on keyboards.
The use of touchpanels is growing due to the ease of changing the interface - instead of the expensive process of designing and prototyping a mechanical keyboard, it is enough to make simple changes in the software to change the layout of the "buttons".
Another advantage of using the touch interface is the resistance to dirt accumulation - we only touch the solid surface, without any gaps or unevenness, which could be penetrated by dirt.
RockTouch touchpanels are even more attractive because of dedicated firmware developed by the company, enabling their use in the rain or the possibility of wearing gloves by the operator.
Depending on the size, RockTouch can provide touch panels protected by a glass of thickness of up to 6mm, which increases the resistance to vandalism of interfaces placed in public spaces such as parking meters, ticket machines, ticket stamping machines, info-kiosks etc.
We are proud to announce that RockTouch's offer includes new, smaller 5 "touch panels, and even 4.3" on request.
The following video presents the RockTouch touchpanel's resistance to interference from, e.g. rain.
