RACK-500AI comes in a Rack enclosure that facilitates installation in 19-inch racks. Communication with expansion cards is realised via a full-size PICMG slot using the latest and fastest standard: PCIe Express Gen. 3.0. ATX power supply (up to 350W) ensures reliable operation of the PC and meets all requirements of CPU expansion cards. What’s more, RACK-500AI is designed to dissipate large volumes of heat. Internal components of RACK-500AI’s enclosure are placed apart to account for the fact that most CPU expansion cards have large fans to dissipate heat. A backplane located inside the enclosure is used to connect expansion cards.
