Today's electronic devices require efficient and energy-saving power supplies that provide voltage stability with minimal power consumption. HT78Rxx linear regulators are state-of-the-art solutions that combine low resting current, a wide input voltage range and high precision stabilisation. Thanks to their compact design and built-in protection mechanisms, they are ideal for battery power systems and other applications requiring reliable operation under varying loads.
The HT78Rxx circuits are linear regulators with a low resting current of typically 3μA and a low dropout voltage, supporting a wide operating input voltage range from 2.5V to 20V.
The HT78Rxx regulators are available with several fixed output voltages ranging from 1.5V to 5.0V and can deliver a maximum output current of 500mA with output voltage accuracy of ± 2%. The circuits also include internal over-current and over-temperature protection circuitry, providing the necessary protection and high performance solutions for battery-powered systems.
The HT78Rxx optimise transient response characteristics to less than 10%, providing a constant output voltage to the application when the input power source or load current changes. These excellent features allow the new devices to replace the HT72xx, HT73xx and HT1015-1.
The chips are available in SOT-23-5 and SOT89 packages and support a minimum output capacitance of 1μF.
