Secure connectivity is the foundation of any modern industrial infrastructure today. JM elektronik provides solutions that not only ensure reliable data transmission, but also meet the latest European cybersecurity standards. Our offer includes InHand industrial routers, which are already EN 18031 certified, confirming their compliance with current EU requirements.
InHand industrial routers available at JM elektronik meet the latest European Union cybersecurity requirements. The IR302, IR305, IR315 and IR615 models have obtained EN 18031 series certification, confirming compliance with mandatory protection standards for wireless devices. This means that the devices are fully prepared for implementation and safe operation throughout the EU.
The EN 18031 standard supplements the European Radio Equipment Directive (RED) and defines requirements for communication security. All new wireless devices with network functions must comply with it in order to obtain the CE mark and be approved for sale in Europe. The key pillars of the standard are data encryption during transmission, device authentication to prevent unauthorised access, and protection against remote attacks to reduce the risk of interception or manipulation.
