LCD Controller & Driver with keyscan (I²C) - RAM Mapping 20*4/16*8 

The HT16K23A is a memory mapping and multifunction LCD controller driver. The Max. display segment numbers in the device are 80 patterns (20 segments and 4 commons) or 128 patterns (16 segments and 8 commons). The Max. key scan circuits are 20×1 matrix or 16×1 matrix. The software configuration feature of the HT16K23A makes it suitable for multiple LCD applications including LCD modules and display subsystems. The HT16K23A supports a hardware interrupt using register setting.

The HT16K23A is compatible with most microcontrollers and communicates via a two-line bidirectional I²C-bus.
