The mains transformer remains an attractive and easy-to-implement solution for reliable power supply systems. In many applications where stability, durability, and predictable behavior over a long service life are important, classic EI transformers are still widely used.
Hahn's EI30 ErP series has been designed to meet low no-load power consumption requirements. Transformers in this series have a power consumption of less than 0.4 W, which allows them to be used in devices covered by the ErP directive and in applications where energy efficiency in standby mode is important.
The design of EI30 ErP transformers is short-circuit resistant, which increases the safety of the power supply system and simplifies its design. The split core ensures physical separation of the primary and secondary windings, which has a positive effect on the insulation parameters and reliability of the entire solution.

Like all transformers manufactured by Hahn, the EI30 ErP series is also vacuum-impregnated. This process ensures repeatable heat dissipation conditions from the windings and core, reduces mechanical vibrations, and contributes to long-term stability of electrical parameters. Each transformer undergoes a final electrical test during production, which ensures a high level of quality and repeatability.
Depending on the version, EI30 ErP transformers offer power ranging from 1.3 to 2.8 VA. Secondary voltages of 6 V, 7.5 V, 9 V, 12 V, and 15 V are available, as well as variants with double secondary windings, such as 2 × 9 V and 2 × 12 V. The housing dimensions are 28.2 × 33.2 mm, while the height, depending on the type, ranges from 22.4 to 34.3 mm, which facilitates integration into compact designs.
The series designation is BVEI30x8xxx. An example model is the BVEI3048013 transformer with a power of 2.1 VA and a secondary voltage of 1 × 6 V. The range also includes the BVEI3068016 and BVEI3038008 models, among others.

For many years, Hahn has specialized in the design and manufacture of transformers and inductive components for industrial and electronic applications. The manufacturer's experience, stable production processes, and consistent approach to quality make Hahn transformers a popular choice for applications requiring reliability and long service life, even in simple power supply systems with low power consumption.
