e-Link – Debug and Programming Adapter for Holtek Flash MCUs

The e-Link is an online debug adapter designed for Holtek’s new generation of Flash MCUs based on the OCDS (On-Chip Debug Support) architecture. Used in conjunction with HT-IDE3000 software, it allows developers to program and debug firmware directly on their target boards.

Features and limitations:

• Supports only Flash MCUs with OCDS architecture

• Provides ICP (In-Circuit Programming) capability when used with HOPE3000, suitable for low-volume engineering programming

• Requires activation upon first use via a dedicated activation tool

• Does not support offline programming and is not intended for high-volume production

• Cannot program Boot Loader ROM code, and therefore is not suitable for MCUs requiring ISP functionality (e.g., HT6XFB5X0 series)
