RUTM20 is a compact industrial 5G router designed for high-performance connectivity in space-constrained IoT and industrial deployments. Equipped with a global 5G Sub-6 GHz modem supporting SA and NSA modes (3GPP Release 16), it delivers data speeds of up to 3.4 Gbps downlink and 900 Mbps uplink, with LTE Cat 19 / Cat 18 and 3G fallback for maximum network availability.
The router features dual SIM slots combined with an integrated consumer-grade eSIM supporting up to seven profiles. Automatic SIM switching ensures continuous operation based on signal quality, data limits, roaming status, or network availability. RUTM20 supports advanced mobile networking features including multiple PDN, framed routing, passthrough, and bridge modes.
Despite its compact footprint, RUTM20 offers dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac Wave 2) with MU-MIMO, mesh and fast roaming capabilities, supporting up to 150 simultaneous wireless clients. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports provide WAN and LAN connectivity, while port-based and tag-based VLANs enable flexible network segmentation.
RUTM20 runs on RutOS (OpenWrt-based Linux) and supports advanced routing, firewall, VPN, load balancing, and failover features. It integrates industrial and IoT protocols such as MODBUS TCP, OPC UA, BACnet/IP, MQTT, DNP3, and DLMS/COSEM, enabling seamless communication with industrial controllers, metering systems, and cloud platforms.
Additional features include active PoE input and output (802.3af/at), extensive remote management options via WebUI, SNMP, TR-069 and Teltonika RMS, as well as a rugged aluminum enclosure suitable for harsh industrial environments. With low power consumption, wide temperature range, and compact design, RUTM20 is well suited for industrial, utility, smart city, and retail applications.
