BS-eBridge – Touch IC Calibration Tool for Holtek Touch MCU Workshop

The BS-eBridge is a dedicated calibration and communication tool designed for use with Holtek’s Touch MCU Workshop (version 3.5 or later). It plays a crucial role in the development and fine-tuning of capacitive touch applications based on Holtek touch MCUs.

Key features:

  • Acts as an isolated communication bridge between the PC software and the target board via I²C

  • Enables real-time adjustment and observation of touch key parameters such as trigger threshold, auto-calibration period, and frequency hopping

  • Facilitates accurate and efficient touch key tuning for enhanced sensitivity and stability

In a complete development setup:

  • e-Link is used to program the firmware generated by the Touch MCU Workshop to the target MCU

  • BS-eBridge is used for I²C communication and parameter calibration during development

To use BS-eBridge, your target board must include ICP (In-Circuit Programming) pins for e-Link and an I²C interface for communication with BS-eBridge.

BS-eBridge is an essential tool for engineers working with touch-based interfaces, making parameter optimization intuitive, fast, and precise.
