We present the first series of products from the new LPZ family from Aimtec: AM1DS-LPZ, AM2DS-LPZ, and AM3DS-LPZ, which are 1W, 2W, and 3W DC/DC converters. The LPZ family has been designed with one main goal in mind – to offer our customers the lowest possible prices (LP), while maintaining the quality for which Aimtec is known. From supply chain management to product optimization, Aimtec is now able to offer lower costs across many high-performance product lines than ever before.
The three new series are compact SIP7 DC-DC converters designed to deliver exceptional performance and safety in space-constrained applications. With high efficiency, solid isolation, and a wide operating temperature range, these converters are a versatile solution for a variety of industrial and commercial projects.
The new AM1DS-LPZ, AM2DS-LPZ, and AM3DS-LPZ converters provide an attractive combination of high efficiency, solid isolation, and compact sizes. They feature high efficiency of up to 90%, which reduces power losses and heat generation. This results in more efficient operation and reduced operational costs.
They also provide a high level of isolation voltage, either 1500 or 3000 VDC, which effectively protects sensitive components and safeguards the system against electrical failures.
Their compact SIP7 package allows for optimal space utilization on the PCB, making them ideal for applications with limited space.
Additionally, the converters offer continuous short-circuit protection, eliminating the risk of damage to the system and other components in the event of overloads.
With a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +105°C, they can be used in demanding environments, ensuring reliable performance.
These advanced LPZ converters are used in industrial automation and control systems, telecommunications infrastructure, point-of-load (POL) power supplies, instrumentation, and measuring equipment. They also perform excellently in various electronic devices with limited space that require isolated power.
